Prime Day is here! If you’re anything like me, your cart probably has like five “maybe” items sitting in it. Not all of my Amazon purchases have been all-stars, but there are many that ended up being useful.
These are the Amazon purchases I’ve actually liked. The ones I reach for again and again, recommend to people, and would buy all over if I had to. If you’re browsing Prime Day or just curious, maybe something on this list will be a win for you too.
Quick note: Some of the links in this post are Amazon affiliate links. That means if you buy something through one of them, I may earn a small commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and I only share things I’ve personally used, genuinely like, or would recommend to a friend.
7-Day Pill Organizer That Changed My Routine
(aka “the wheel of fortune”)

Part of my routine includes taking medicine. Ideally every day, but who’s counting? I used to have a pill organizer that had 7 different containers. Each labeled for a day of the week and had a night and day section. The idea was for you to pluck one of the containers and take it with you.
As someone with ADHD, out of sight and out of mind is a very real thing. So , to the surprise of probably no one, the container would end up at the bottom of my bag. Days would go by where I wouldn’t take my meds and it was starting to become a real problem.
I have since switched over to what I like to call my wheel of fortune. I have it set up in my kitchen, where I see it everyday. The clear pane of wheel of fortune also makes it easy to see when I’m running low. The visibility has made it so much easier to include my medicine in my routine. Sure, I still have an occasional oops day, but they are far more uncommon now that I have this container.
Compact Wireless Earbuds That Actually Stay In

I have a hard time with headphones because of the shape of my ears. I’ve had people try to tell me “these headphones ACTUALLY stay in!” only for me to get majorly disappointed when I would try them and have them fall off. I would resort to headphones with ear hooks. But If I wore them for too long, they would make my ears feel sore.
I took a chance on these ear buds and they’ve been a life changer! They’re compact, making it easier to carry around on a key chain or pocket without much of a hassle. Some could consider that a downside, because they are easier to lose.
In fact, I did end up losing a pair. I tried waiting, hoping they turned up somewhere. But that lasted maybe a week before I gave in and bought myself another pair. If I would’ve waited another week or so, I could’ve saved myself the money. My original pair did turn up but now I’m a happy owner of two pairs!
I don’t consider myself an audiophile, but I the sound on these are incredible for music or podcasts. They also come with different modes, like noise canceling or ‘be aware.’ Their battery also lasts a long time, but when it runs out, they’re quick to charge.
Magnetic Tripod Stand for Content or Chill Time

I fell victim to Tik Tok’s influence when I decided to purchase this tripod stand. But I absolutely love it.
The versatility on this thing is unmatched. I can put my phone in different positions and heights to either watch something or record. Sometimes you need the phone to be just a little bit higher to hit those angles in a photo.
When I’m not using it, I can easily clip it on my backpack or the belt clip on my jeans. No need to dig through anything to grab it. Since it’s MagSafe, I don’t even have to struggle with those phone clips.
Flat French Hair Clips That Stay Put (and Look Cute)

I upgraded my claw clips to these French hair clips for a few reasons.
The first reason came down to safety. I keep hearing horror stories of girls that get into a car accident while wearing the more common claw clips. It’s scarred me into looking for flat alternatives.
The second reason I decided to upgrade is because the teeth of claw clips kept breaking off. It made them look like kids whose adult teeth were coming in. In Spanish, I would describe them as molachas. Enough of them broke off that I decided to pull the trigger and upgrade to these clips.
And I can’t rave about them enough. I have stick straight hair, so other clips have a tendency of sliding off. When I started using these, I noticed that they stayed in place for my entire day! That alone won me over.
The amount of compliments I’ve gotten on these doesn’t hurt.
Phone Mirror and Light Combo (Just Okay)

Check it out if you’re curious.
Blame my FYP for this one. I’ve recently been working more on content creation and video recording. As a result, having something that makes it easier to record with my back camera was highly appealing. But I didn’t want to spend $100 (or sometimes more!) on a selfie monitor screen.
So I decided to go with this mag safe mirror and light combo because its more practical and more affordable. I’m not sure if I should’ve gone with a different version, but this one is simply alright. The part I’m not a huge fan of is the mirror. It’s very small and doesn’t feel like it’s helping much in keeping me centered. I didn’t think I would mind the bulkiness of it, but it does make it hard to carry around.
It’s been a solid light to use in videos as I start to take content creation more seriously. But if I lose it, I don’t think I would buy this version again.
Not all of these items are must-haves, but they’ve genuinely made parts of my life easier, more efficient, or just more fun. I also know Amazon isn’t the most ethical company out there. I try to be mindful of where I shop when I can, but I also live in a world (and budget) where convenience and affordability still win out more often than I’d like.
If you’re planning to shop this Prime Day, I hope this list helps you skip the clutter and find something that actually works for you. I also share more finds on my Benable page, not all of which come from Amazon. But if you’ve got an Amazon find you swear by, send it my way. I’m always curious what ends up being worth it for other people.
